At the heart of the World Gorilla Marathon lies a passionate, diverse, and global community of runners, conservationists, adventurers, and storytellers who carry the spirit of this iconic race across continents. Our Ambassadors programme: both local and international is a volunteer-driven initiative and are more than just athletes; they are champions of gorilla conservation, sustainable tourism, and harmony between humanity and nature.

Whether running marathons in Boston, London, New York, Berlin, Tokyo, Paris, Cape Town and others, our Ambassadors inspire the world by embodying courage, endurance, and purpose, raising awareness for the endangered mountain gorillas whose future depends on collective action of all of us.

We welcome individuals with bold energy, an authentic voice, and a love for both running and wildlife (gorillas) to join this elite movement-spreading the message of conservation and sporting excellence wherever they go.
