Our virtual run participation blends with WGM’s uniqueness and inclusive participation resonating from our global ambassadorship roles of localizing the marathon and its campaigns across their respective communities around the world. A few of our eminent well-wishers that are unable to travel to the local marathon venue(s) in Africa can still take part and this brings together our conservation efforts to the doorsteps of international supporters and ensures that everyone, anywhere around the world can be part of this global movement by running from their compounds, on a local jogging lane/trail, highway and then sending their run recordings to receive respective finisher recognition medals or a digital certificate.
